Shubham Gill and Ishan kishan played an important role in India’s victory against Zimbabwe in the 3rd and last ODI.
Shubman Gill scored his maiden ODI century (130 runs off 97 balls) while Ishan Kishan scored half century which helped India cross 285-run-mark. On Tuesday, BCCI posted a video on Twitter in which Ishan Kishan & Shubman Gill are having a friendly banter after the game.
Ishan Kishan got runout due to miscommunication caused by Gill so Ishan asked Gill about that dismissal on which Gill replied that he did not see Ishan had taken off for a run and he (Gill) was watching the ball. It was totally his fault. There was that appeal and he didn’t see the ball but he told Ishan to wait, Gill added
On which Ishan replied It’s not about him seeing the ball. Why were he showing his bat to the umpire? Even if umpire gives him out, he will have a review. Then Gill responded by saying that he did have much time to think of all that.
Ishan also revealed their plans if Gill reaches 100-run-mark. Ishan said that they had planned to score big when Gill scored his Hundred. They were considering to smash 90 runs off last 40 balls.
