India will take on Pakistan for the second time in Asia Cup on blockbuster Sunday. The banters are already going before the match between the fans of the two nations.
Pakistan fan Momin Saqib who became famous after his “Maro mujhe Maro” phrase during India vs Pakistan game in World Cup 2019 uploaded a video on Instagram after meeting India’s former bowler Irfan Pathan. He captioned the video “Glad to meet Irfan Pathan, the best swing bowler India has ever had. Lekin Irfan Bhai, aap maanein ya na maanein, Asia Cup humara hai!”
In the video, Momin asked Irfan how is he and recalled Irfan Pathan’s hat-trick against Pakistan in 2006. After that, he asked Irfan about the match result of Ind vs Pak match on Sunday on which Irfan replied “repeat hi hoga” (result will be the same)
Then Momin further countered Irfan’s reply by asking “repeat of the last year game” on which Irfan burst into laughter and said “Woh ek baar hogaya yaar, baar baar nehi hoga. Abhi ladko ka bhi form aagaya” (It happened just once, it won’t happened again. The players are back in form)
In the first game, India thrashed Pakistan by 5 wickets. Pakistan scored 147 runs in their first innings which India chased down with 3 balls to spare. Hardik Pandya was the hero of India’s victory in that game. Bhuvneshwar Kumar also picked 4W haul in that encounter.
