Indian team took some time off and were seen relishing at the beech ahead of the first game of Super 4.
Team India began their Asia Cup campaign with a bang. Firstly they thrashed Pakistan by 5 wickets owing to Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja’s masterclass knocks with that and Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s magnificent 4W haul.
In their second game, Team India did not have any trouble in beating Hong Kong. After batting first, men in blue put on target of 192 on the board with the help of Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli’s terrific half centuries and then restricted the opposition on the score of 152.
On Friday, BCCI posted a video on their twitter account in which Indian players can be seen enjoying their free time at the beach. Yuzvendra Chahal said that it was the idea of coach Rahul Dravid of having fun activity before the game. He also added that it further increases players bonding.
In the video, Arshdeep Singh, Dinesh Karthik & Deepak Hooda were seen relishing Standup paddleboarding. Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal and Hardik Pandya used peddling boats to spend time on the water. Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli tried Kayaking. Besides, Indian players also played Volleyball at the beach.
