AB de Villiers believes that Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) can start winning multiple trophies if they end the trophy drought.

Former South African batter AB de Villiers was one of the finest cricketers in IPL who represented RCB franchise for over 10 years. He has amassed more than 5000 runs in IPL at an sublime strike rate of 151. He also holds the record of winning most number of player of the match awards in IPL.

In a video released by Star Sports, De Villiers said that “It’s been how many seasons now? Quite a few, 14 or 15 or whatever. So, they would love to break the shackles. I think if RCB wins this one then, they’ll probably win two, three, four quickly but let’s wait and see what happens, T20 cricket is a bit of a gamble sometimes, anything can happen. Especially knockout games, but hopefully RCB’s turn is around the corner”

Few days ago, Ab de villiers visited Bangalore to discuss about his role for RCB and in which capacity he would contribute for the franchise. He also mentioned that he and Chris Gayle will be available in RCB’s first game at Chinnaswamy Stadium next year.
