India defeated Zimbabwe in a one-sided match in the second ODI and took an unassailable lead of 2-0 in 3-match ODI series. The last match of the series will be played on 22nd August.
India after winning the toss, offered Zimbabwe to bat first. Zimbabwe batters couldn’t crack Indian bowlers again and their innings bundled out for 160. Shardul Thakur was leading wicket-taker from Indian side, he made 3 Zimbabwe batters his prey.
India chased the target by the loss of five wickets in just 26 overs. Shubman Gill continued his marvellous form and smacked 33 runs off 34 deliveries while Sanju Samson scored 43 runs in 39 deliveries and led India to victory when Team needed 1 run to win.
Rajasthan Royals twitter handle shared a video in which Sanju Samson was on strike when India needed 1 run to win, at that moment Indian spectators started shouting ‘Sanju Samson’, ‘Sanju Samson’ and Samson did not disappoint them. He slammed a giant six and led India to victory.
