Harry Brook was sensational on the first day of the second test match between New Zealand & England.
England lost 3 wickets at the score of 20 while batting first and then Brook who has been remarkable in every game he has played in his test cricket so far. Brook batted with ferocity and maintained an excellent strike rate throughout the innings.
24-year-old Brook hammered century in just 107 balls batting a tough track since the collapse. With the knock, Brook is now averaging 100 in test cricket with an astounding strike rate of 100. He also becomes the first player to score 800 runs in his first nine Test innings.
Brook remained unbeaten on the score of 184 facing 169 balls. Besides Brook’s excellence, Joe Root also smashed an outrageous hundred as he remained unbeaten at the score of 101 till the end of Day 1.
