Arshdeep Singh did not have a great day with the ball in the second T20.
After missing the first game, Arshdeep Singh was given an opportunity in the second game but it did not go well for the southpaw pacer as he went for 37 runs in just 2 over with an economy of 18.50.
Apart from being expensive, Arshdeep bowled 5 no-ball in the game. The joint most by any bowler from a Full Member side in a T20I and most by an Indian bowler. Arshdeep came to bowl the second over of the innings and delivered 3 consecutive no balls of which Kusal Mendis smashed a six & a four.
After that he got to bowl in the penultimate over in which he bowled 2 no balls and went for 18 runs in the over. Seeing Arshdeep’s pathetic bowling, captain Hardik Pandya seemed disappointed and made a sad face. Talking about the game, India lost by 16 runs despite Axar Patel’s brilliance from the bat.
