India crushed Australia in the second encounter of the series and levelled it by 1-1 in rain affected game of 8-over.
India after winning the toss, invited Australia to bat first. Australia with the help of captain Finch’s 30 runs & Wade’s 43 run cameo, set 91 runs target in 8 overs for India. Axar Patel remained the best bowler from Indian side.
While chasing, India lost Kl Rahul early but captain Rohit Sharma led from the front. Virat Kohli could not do any wonder and went out cheaply. Suryakumar Yadav & Hardik Pandya both of them failed to make any impact on the game.
But Rohit Sharma stood still on the crease and faced off Aussie bowlers with immense composure, hitting big sixes all over the ground. Rohit remained unbeaten on 46 runs after facings just 20 deliveries.
But it was Dinesh Karthik who finished off the game in style. India needed 9 runs to win in the last over. Dinesh Karthik hit the first ball for a six on the bowling of Daniel Sams, on the second delivery he smashed a four and helped India get over the line by his terrific finishing touch.
