Ben Stokes got dismissed by a fantastic delivery bowler by Irish bowler.
In the Group A game between England & Ireland, Ireland set a target of 111 runs for England. Andrew Balbirnie smashed 62 runs in just 47 balls. Mark Wood & Liam Livingstone picked 3-3 wickets for England.
While chasing down the target, match was affected due to rain when England were batting on 105/5 in 14.3 overs. Unfortunately the match couldn’t be continue and according to Duckworth Lewis rule, Ireland were declared the winners by the margin of 5 runs.
Talking about Stokes’s dismissal, in the second innings, Irish bowler Fionn Hand pitched a delivery in the line of Stokes’ off-stump. At first, the ball was going outside of off-stumps in wicket-keeper’s hands but later it got deflected a little and knocked off Stokes’ stumps.
