Chris Green displayed a fine & selfless gesture on the field.
On the third day of the second test game between Australia & South Africa in Melbourne, wicket-keeper batter Alex Carry hammered a spectacular hundred and finished his innings on the score of 111 facing 149 deliveries.
When Carrey reached his hundred taking ả singer, Chris Green who was non-striker’s end started celebrating at the middle of the pitch while taking the single. Green’s selfless gesture was appreciated by fans on the social media.
Green too played a patient knock of 51 runs off 117 deliveries and remained not out. Australia posted 575 runs in the first innings before declaring the innings. South Africa is batting on 15 runs at the loss of 1 wicket of Dean Elgar.
