Watch – Cheteshwar Pujara’s 102-run-knock against Bangladesh.
Cheteshwar Pujara scored his 19th test hundred on Day 3 of test match against Bangladesh.
India scored 258 runs at the loss of 2 wickets and then captain KL Rahul decided to declare the innings. Bangladesh got the target of 513 runs to come out victorious in the first test. Cheteshwar Pujara scored 102 runs in just 130 balls which was quiet unusual for him as we don’t see him playing with higher strike rate.
After the century, Pujara looked ecstatic and celebrated his hundred. Virat Kohli took look pumped up while wishing Pujara for his splendid hundred. This was Pujara’s first hundred for India since the start of 2018.
Apart from Pujara, Shubman Gill too ended the long wait by smashing his first ever test hundred. Gill scored 110 runs off 151 deliveries before getting out. Gill had scored his maiden ODI hundred couple of months on Zimbabwe tour.
