Watch – Brian Lara tackles Rashid Khan in the nets

Former Caribbean legendary batter Brian Lara showed his class with the bat during a net session.

Brian Lara who is currently staying in Australia as the part of the broadcasting team got to face Afghanistan’s star spinner Rashid Khan in the nets. Rashid Khan is in Australia for the Big Bash league which is going to kickstart from 13th December. Rashid is the part of Adelaide Strikers Franchise.

In a video which is getting viral, Lara can be seen showing his captivating shots as he used to play in his early days. On one of the deliveries, Lara made room and played square cut off Rashid’s delivery. Lara was given the task to whack 12 runs in an over although the competition ended in a draw.

“It is unbelievable. As soon as I heard that I was going to bowl to him I was super excited and nervous as well. It is going to be a different day for me bowling to someone like Brian Lara, who is a great player of spin bowling. I think it is going to be a great challenge for me. It is not just about winning and losing, but I am heaps proud to bowl to him.” Rashid Khan stated.
