Cricket fans must have been entertained after witness shower of sixes in Bristol during England vs South Africa 1st T20 game. Jonny Bairstow and Moeen Ali could not let the proteas bowlers breathe by slamming sixes in all parts of the ground.
South Africa after winning the toss, opted to bowl first. England did not have a great start as they lost both of their openers early. After that David Malan took the responsibility and smashed 43 runs off 23 deliveries including 4 sixes. But the real carnage happened when the duo of Bairstow-Moeen started hitting and raining sixes in the stadium.
Bairstow and Moeen Ali took England’s innings to 184 in just 16 overs. But what happened in the 17th over was very really to forget for Andile Phehlukwayo. Jonny Bairstow slammed two outrageous sixes on first two deliveries and took a single on the third one after 2 wide deliveries. Then it was Moeen Ali who finished the over in style as it hit three consecutive sixes in last 3 deliveries and added 33 runs in a single over.

Moeen after smashing half century in just 16 balls got dismissed in Ngidi’s over. But Bairstow kept hammering South African bowlers and reached on the score of 90 facing just 53 deliveries but eventually became the prey of Ngidi on the 5th delivery of the last over. England put on a mammoth total of 234 runs on the board. Lungi Ngidi was the most successful bowler from SA’s side as he took 5W haul after conceding 39 runs.
