Australia found a duplicate of R Ashwin to tackle spin bowling.
Mahesh Pithiya, a young cricketer who recently made his Ranji debut was found out by Australian batter Matthew Renshaw that his bowling acting is identical to that of India’s star spinner R Ashwin. Later, Steve Smith used the opportunity and batted against Mahesh.
A fan shared a video of Mahesh Pithiya bowling to Steven Smith with the action of Ravinchandran Ashwin. Ashwin has been a big threat to Australia and considering this issue, Australia decided to train against him in the nets.
R Ashwin has played 18 tests against Australia and has scalped 89 wickets including five 5W hauls & one 10W haul. The first test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will commence from 9th February in Nagpur.
