West Indies vanquished Team India in the second T20 encounter and registered their first win in this white ball series against India. Caribbean leveled the series by 1-1 after witnessing victory in nail-biting last over.
Obed McCoy wrecked havoc on Indian team after Windies invited India to bat first. McCoy picked 6W haul conceding just 17 runs in his 4-over spell. India’s inning bundled out for 138 against the lethal bowling of West Indies.
Brandon King slammed 68 runs and ensured victory for West Indies. However, Indian bowlers remained economical and gave their best shot to defend the target. The hosts needed 16 runs to triumph over India in last 2 overs. Captain Rohit Sharma gave bowling to Arshdeep Singh in 19th over who was just playing his third international game.
On the second delivery of the over, Rovman Powell tried to play a helicopter shot but failed to dispatch it for six and became prey of Arshdeep Singh’s sumptuous yorker who knocked out Powell’s off-stump. Arshdeep Singh gave just 6 runs in the second last over and forced the hosts to take the game till the last over.

However, West Indies chased down the target in the last over of Avesh Khan facing just 2 deliveries and won the game with 4 balls to spare. Besides the game result, Arshdeep’s sensational bowling impressed everyone.
