Fans went insane after Pakistan vanquished Afghanistan in the thrilling last over in Asia Cup 2022 match on Thursday.
After the game, Pakistan and Afghanistan started fighting, abusing and mocking each other. The fans also vandalised Sharjah’s property. In the video uploaded by twitter users, Afghanistan fans can be seen throwing chairs on Pakistan fans and beating them with it.
Pakistan’s former pacer Shoaib Akhtar criticised this act of Afghanistan fans by tweeting with the caption This is what Afghan fans are doing. Things went bad when Asif Alif got out in Fareed Ahmad’s over after smashing six off his last delivery. Fareed and Asif exchanged words, after that Asif pushed Fareed and lifted his bat on his face. The umpire and others players had to intervene to settle the matter.
