Watch – Adam Gilchrist shook hands with Virat Kohli in excitement
India’s star batter met Australian former wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist.
Virat Kohli was seen having chat with Dale Steyn before the second game of India, against Netherlands. After few minutes, Australia’s finest opener and former wicket-keeper arrived and shook hands with Kohli in excitement. Afterwards he uttered something before going which made Kohli & Steyn laugh.
In the match, Virat Kohli slammed 62 runs in 44 balls and helped India win their second game of T20 World Cup. In the first game, Kohli rescued team India to victory by smashing 82 runs in 53 balls and was declared player of the match for his masterclass innings.
After the win against Netherlands, India arrived at the top in Group B points table. Now India’s chances to qualify for semifinal have increased. India have to face Zimbabwe, South Africa & Bangladesh in their remaining games. The only big challenge for them would be against South Africa.
