South Africa former captain Ab de villiers is currently touring & enjoying his time in India.
Few days ago, AB de Villiers arrived Bangalore and visited his former franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore’s home stadium Chinnaswamy stadium. He has given hints that he may join RCB camp in some capacity and contribute from next IPL season.
After spending some time in Bengaluru, ABD arrived in Mumbai. Afterwards, he met India’s legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar. “Bottled up with excitement as I wait to meet with @sachintendulkar . He’s always been someone I look up to. The way he carried himself on and off the field during his playing days was nothing short of incredible! Since his retirement nothing has changed and he still inspires millions around the world, including me,” de Villiers captioned his post on Instagram.
A video of him is getting viral on social media in which he can be seen playing cricket in Mumbai streets with kids.
AB de Villiers retired from international cricket in May, 2018 but he continued to play T20 leagues including IPL. But in November, 2022 he bid adieu to all forms of cricket including IPL. AB de has played 12 seasons for Royal Challengers Bangalore and scored more than 5000 runs.
