South Africa’s legend batter & RCB’s superstar Ab de Villiers arrived Bangalore on Thursday.
Ab de Villiers is one of the most popular overseas cricketers in India. AB has a huge fan following in South India specially Karnataka because of playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. De Villiers retired from all forms of cricket on 19th November, 2021 including IPL.
Proteas batter took to his twitter account and announced his arrival in Bangalore. He wrote Great to be back in Bangalore. Just checked in to the ITC Royal Gardenia for the first time in many years! De Villiers is likely to become the mentor of RCB franchise from next season and he would give his suggestion in players retention and upcoming mega auction. AB de Villiers featured in 184 IPL games over 14 seasons. In 170 innings of 184 matches, De Villiers scored 5162 runs, which came at an average of 39.70 and a strike rate of 151.68. He is regarded as one of the best IPL batters of all time
