Sachin Tendulkar admired a catch effort by a player in a local Indian cricket tournament.
In India, cricket is treated as religion. Many tournaments are organised in different parts of the country by schools, colleges and authorities. In one such league, an acrobatic fielding effort was witnessed which resembled star football Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘Bicycle Kick’.
In the video which is getting viral on internet, a fielder in a local tournament stunned everyone by his innovative catch. While fielding at the boundary line, the player jumped and tried to throw the ball in the air onto the field, stopping a six. However, the ball went beyond the boundary and then the fielder showed a brilliant tactic as he kicked the ball in air inside the boundary which was later caught by a fielder stationed inside the boundary.
Sachin Tendulkar was so moved by the effort that he couldn’t stop himself from quoting the video, tweeted by a user on Twitter. Sachin wrote “This is what happens when you bring a guy who also knows how to play football!! ⚽️ 🏏 😂”
