A bomb blast attack was witnessed in Alokozay Kabul International Cricket Ground. The incident took place during Shpageeza Cricket League match in Kabul on Friday evening, 29th July.
Just after the attack, the spectators were seen running for the safety. Because of the explosion, the people were afraid and walking here and there in stir. The incident happened when 22nd league match of the Shpageeza Cricket League between Pamir Zalmi and the Band-e-Amir Dragons was going on at Kabul International Cricket Ground.
The Kabul police department have verified the incident. Multiple casualties have been reported from the stadium. People were making noise and crying after the incident which can be seen in the video.

The Shpageeza Cricket League is a professional T20 tournament, which is organized by Afghanistan Cricket Board. During the start, there were only 5 teams in the tournament and the inaugural season was won by the Speenghar Tigers in 2013. After that, 3 more teams were introduced in the league.
Talking about the attack, Afghanistan have been a victim of series of explosions since Taliban occupied the territory in August, 2021. Few days ago, several blasts took place at Gurdwara Karte Parwan in Kabul’s Bagh-e Bala neighbourhood. Two people died in this incident including a member of Sikh community.
