Asia Cup is going to kick off from next week and India’s star batsman Virat Kohli will make his comeback from this tournament.
33-year-old played his last international game in July, 2022 in odi series against England where he could not do much damage to the opposition. Kohli is out of form from couple of years which is a huge concern for the team, specially in 2022 he averaged less than 30 across the formats.
Virat Kohli getting back in form will be a huge relief for India who are going to face Pakistan in their Asia Cup encounter. Last time when these two teams played against each other, Pakistan defeated men in blue by 10 wickets. Team India must be looking to avenge that loss, but for this, Virat Kohli must get his rhythm back.
Now, for the tournament Virat Kohli will try a new bat. Flamboyant batter will use the new limited gold edition MRF bat in the Asia Cup. Virat Kohli had debited in international cricket with the Nike bat and then he changed it to MRF. It will be interesting to see whether Kohli will get his old form back with the new bat or not.
