Rohit Sharma caught an injury during net session on Tuesday.
India finished their group as table toppers and qualified for semifinal along with Pakistan. India will take on England in the second semifinal game in Adelaide on 10th November. On Tuesday, ahead of the semifinal clash, Rohit Sharma was doing batting practice in optional net session.
While batting, Rohit took a blow off a length delivery thrown by throwdown specialist, Raghu. The bit struck him on his right forearm and he was looking in pain after the hit. He then sat down on slides and an ice pack was applied around the injured area.
However, after taking rest, Rohit looked fine and then resumed his training. Rohit Sharma has not done anything extraordinary with the bat this tournament as he managed to score just 89 runs in 5 matches he played. Indian fans will be hoping to witness the hitman coming back in form ahead of knockout clash.
