Usman Khawaja came up with a tricky comment on Kapil Dev’s suggestion to drop Virat

Virat Kohli’s form has been a hot topic for the cricket world for the past few times. Many experts have put their opinion on Virat’s future in T20 cricket. Recently Indian legend Kapil Dev came up with his view.

The official Instagram handle of ICC has posted a photo on Kapil Dev’s opinion. Where India’s first World Cup-winning captain said that he is on the side of dropping Kohli and said if Ravi Ashwin can be dropped despite being the 2nd ranked bowler, why not Kohli. Kapil told ABP news that selectors should play in form players. One can’t only go with reputation, current form should also be considered.  Kohli may be an established player but he can’t occupy the seat if he fails in a row.

Australian batsman Usman Khawaja came up with a comment where he supported Virat indirectly and said that Virat has averaged over 50 in T20Is. It would be a good call and Australia would completely agree with this decision as Kohli has always been a danger to other teams.

Eventually, Virat is going through a very rough patch in his career. Over 100 innings he couldn’t hit a century. In this situation, huge pressure is being created on the Indian megastar. If he couldn’t get back his touches before the T20 World Cup, bad news may be waiting for Kohli’s millions of fans.
