“This isn’t T20, this is Test cricket. Play sensible cricket,” Mohammed Siraj reveals what he said to Liton Das

Mohammed Siraj stole the show with his superb bowling on Day 2 of the first test between India & Bangladesh.

India afrer batting first posted the total of 404/10 owing to Cheteshwar Pujara, Shreyas Iyer & Ravinchandran Ashwin’s half centuries as well as 40-plus knock of Kuldeep Yadav & Rishabh Pant. While trailing, Bangladesh lost 8 of their wickets on the score of 133. Mushfiqur Rahim 28(58) was the top-scorer from Bangladesh side on Day 2.

In the bowling department, Mohammed Siraj scalped 3 wickets, Kuldeep Yadav picked 4 wickets & R Ashwin picked one. Mohammed Siraj dismissed the key batter of Bangladesh Liton Das, who was looking in a good rhythm on the second delivery of 13th over.

Before dismissing Liton Das and giving him a fiery send-off, Siraj had few words with Liton on the previous delivery. After the stumps, Siraj revealed what he said Liton Das after the first delivery. “Ye T20 format nahi hai, ye Test cricket hai(this isn’t T20, this is Test cricket. Play sensible cricket),”Siraj spoke in press conference.
