India team have reached Zimbabwe on Saturday for the 3-match ODI series starting from 18th August.
Indian team will face Zimbabwe led by KL Rahul. Suryakumar Yadav & Shreyas Iyer are also the part of the squad while senior players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have been given rest.
On Friday, Surya hosted a gathering and put a story on Instagram. In the picture, Suryakumar Yadav, his wife Devisha, Shreyas Iyer and Yuzi Chahal โs wife Dhanashree can be seen together. On his story, he wrote that Sorry “@yuzi_chahal23 we dinโt miss you.” to make Chahal feel jealous.
Yuzvendra Chahal has also been given rest for Zimbabwe series. He played his last ODI game against West Indies in which took 4W haul. However, he will be seen leading India’s spin attack in most anticipated Asia Cup.
Suryakumar Yadav has been India’s most significant contributor in T20Is in 2022. In T20 series against England, he smacked a century while against West Indies he scored 135 runs in 4 matches including his match winning 76-run-knock.
