Gujarat Titans tweeted “It’s been a journey to remember. We wish you all the best for your next endeavour, @ShubmanGill! #AavaDe.” After this tweet, speculations began among the IPL fans as they started discussing whether Shubman Gill is parting ways with the franchise or not.
After Gujarat Titans’ tweet, Gill replied under the tweet using two emojis “🤗❤️.” Several fans started tagging Gill and asking him to join their favourite IPL franchises while some of the fans tweeted that it might be a prank or any Ad promo. During last IPL, Rajasthan Royals franchise and Sanju Samson did same kind of prank and fans took it as a serious matter.
Besides, Shubman Gill was an integral part of Gujarat Titans in their maiden IPL trophy victory in 15th edition. Gill had performed magnificently for Gujarat franchise, scoring 483 runs in 16 matches with an average of 34 & strike rate of 132 that includes 4 fifties with the highest score of 96.
