The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction for the 2023 season will be held on December 23 in Kochi, Kerala.
The retention deadline prior to the auction was 15th November. Every franchise has submitted their retained players list, traded players list and the amount left in their purse. 991 players have registered for IPL 2023 auction out of which 277 are overseas players.
Purse remaining for teams at IPL 2023 Auction:
SRH – 42.25.
Punjab Kings – 32.20cr.
Lucknow Supergiants – 23.35cr.
Mumbai Indians – 20.55cr.
CSK – 20.45cr.
DC – 19.45cr.
Gujarat Titans – 19.25cr.
Rajasthan Royals – 13.20cr.
RCB – 8.75cr.
KKR – 7.05cr.
Sikandar Raza & Joe Root will be few of the new names in foreign players registered list with base price of ₹50 Lakhs & ₹1 crore respectively.
As per reports, players of base price ₹1.5 crore are:
Meredith, Jhye Richardson, Zampa, Shakib, Harry Brook, Will Jacks, Dawid Malan, Roy, Rutherford, Sean Abott.
Players of base price ₹1 crore:
Root, Agarwal, Kedar, Manish, Nabi, Mujeeb, Henriques, Tye, Luke Wood, Bracewell, Chapman, Guptill, Jamieson, Henry, Latham, Daryl Mitchell, Klaasen, Shamsi, Kusal Perera, Chase, Cornwall, Hope, Akeal Hossein, Wiese.
