BCCI announced the team for 2 matches t20 series against Ireland which is going to take place on 26th & 28th june and the most awaited name in list is Rahul tripathi who got his maiden callup for national team.
Fans were disappointed when Rahul tripathi was not picked for home series against South Africa but BCCI didn’t disappoint the fans again by picking Rahul Tripathi. Tripathi has been in a stupendous form since his debut for Rising Pune Supergiants in IPL 2017.
Rahul Tripathi has played 74 innings in IPL in which he has scored 1798 runs with an average of 28 and outstanding strike rate of 140.80. Although his best form is shown in IPL 2022 in which he scored 413 runs with average of 37.55 and strike rate of 158.24.
Rahul Tripathi said it is a big opportunity and dream comes true moment for him to represent India on national level. He added that he is happy that selectors kept believe in him and he got the reward of his hard work. He further added that he will try his best if he gets chance in the series.
Rahul Tripathi has played for four IPL teams till now which includes Rising Pune Supergiants, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad and he has done well for every team he played. Even he has been splendid in List A & first class cricket. He has made 2540 runs in FC & 1209 runs in List A.
