Pakistani commentator was trolled when he confused Neeraj Chopra with Ashish Nehra
India’s former fast bowler Ashish Nehra came into limelight when Pakistani conspiracy theorist and political commentator Zaid Hamid mentioned Nehra’s name in one of his tweets.
Pakistan’s sportsman Arshad Nadeem recently won gold medal in javelin throw in Commonwealth Games defeating world champion Anderson peters breaching the 90m mark. Zaid Hamid took to Twitter and congratulated him for this accomplishment. While wishing, he compared him with Ashish Nehra. After his tweet, he became a troll material. Fans on twitter are making different kinds of memes on him. Even India’s former opener Virender Sehwag could not withhold himself in responding to Zaid’s tweet.
Sehwag tweeted “Chicha, Ashish Nehra is right now preparing for UK Prime Minister Elections. So Chill 🤣”. However, after this tweet, Zaid’s account has been withheld in India in response to a legal demand.
Months ago, Neeraj Chopra won Gold Medal for India in Javelin throw in Tokyo Olympics. Neeraj showed a kind gesture and wished Nadeem on twitter for the new record he created. Neeraj tweeted “Congratulations Arshad bhai for Gold medal and crossing 90m with a new games record. Aage ke competitions ke liye all the best.”
