New Zealand announced their T20 squad for the series against India.
Kiwi team will take on Men in blue in 3-match T20 series’s starting from 27th January. The team will be led by the new captain Mitchell Santner as Kane Williamson is not the part of T20 squad anymore. However, Williamson will be participating in the 3-match ODI series starting from 18th January.
In addition to the new captain, New Zealand have picked some new names in the squad. All-rounder Henry Shipley who debuted in ODI series against Pakistan is also the part of India series. Team have also shown their faith on leg-spinner Michael Rippon who will feature in New Zealand squad for the first time since his debut against Scotland.
Ben Lister Lister, who represents Auckland Aces in New Zealand’s domestic cricket is set to make his debut in the series opener in Ranchi on 27th January.
