During second ODI game between India & England, viewers must have chuckled listening the commentary at the certain point of the match.
Rohit Sharma after winning the toss, offered England to bat first. England did not have a good start, their opener Jason Roy departed cheaply. Jonny Bairstow after having a good start lost his wicket to Chahal after adding 38 runs. Joe Root could not last longer either and became the prey of Yuzi Chahal. England’s test captain Ben Stokes played few good shots but gifted his wicket to Chahal playing a rash shot while Captain Jos buttler added just 4 runs.
But the moment when the viewers laughed happened in 25th over when Jasprit Bumrah was going to bowl the second delivery to Moeen Ali. Vivek Razdan and Sanjay Manjrekar were the hindi commentators. Manjrekar told Vivek that “kitni mithhi baat ki aapne” (You talked sweet) on which Vivek replied “Mithhe logo ke saath baithunga toh mithhi baat hi nikalegi na” (If I sit with sweet people, I will talk sweet). Mittha is a term used in hindi language for the gay people.
