Michael Vaughan never misses any opportunity as he came up with a cryptic tweet on a post of Wasim Jaffer in Lord’s Cricket ground. They already had a cool battle among themselves over Twitter where they usually take on each other with banters. And that resume with the former English batter’s response to Jaffer’s post.
Wasim Jaffer was at Lord’s where he took a photo and post it saying he was enjoying the sunny day at the Home of cricket. Michel Vaughan didn’t lose any time throwing a banter on his formal opponent by saying if the post was in the 20th year celebration of Vaughan’s first test wicket. Meanwhile, Vaughan’s first test wicket was Wasim Jaffer himself in India’s tour of England in 2002.
Jaffer couldn’t hold back to this response and tweeted that he was there for the 15th year celebration of India’s victory over England in the test series of 2007. Jaffer played an important role in that series by scoring 185 runs in six innings.
In previous times also both have been included many times in friendly rivalry when India got bundled under 100 against England or England got bundled under 70 in The Ashes. Every time they never missed the opportunity to pin the other. Michael Vaughan tried to pull Jaffer’s leg after Jaffer got out on a duck in Legend’s cricket but Jaffer came back with an epic response that he shouldn’t have watched Vaughan’s masterclass on Sky Sports.
Now fans are waiting to watch how long the water flows this time and who will get the upper hand at the Jaffer vs Vaughan Twitter rivalry at the end.
