The time of Virat Kohli isn’t going well at all. The run drought is continuing from his bat. There was a good chance for Kohli to get his touch back in the ODI series after the failures in the T20I series.
But he lost his first opportunity at Oval due to his unfortunate groin injury he got while fielding in the 3rd T20I against England. Another bad news might be waiting for the Kohli fans as he is likely to miss the 2nd ODI at Lord’s too as his injury isn’t recovered completely till now.
A BCCI official has informed that Kohli will go under inspection on Thursday morning and then a final decision will be taken regarding Kohli. If Kohli misses tomorrow’s game, it would be the first time that Virat would miss consecutive two matches due to injury.
Many experts have already suggested that BCCI to drop Kohli due to his poor form. But Some ex-Indian players like Sunil Gavaskar, Ashish Nehra have backed Virat Kohli and expect that the Indian star batter will come back to form very soon.
In this situation, Virat Kohli can do only one thing and that is to shut the mouth of all the critics out there.
