Kl Rahul, the right hand opening batsman for India and a wicket keeper in crisis underwent a surgery recently and had resumed the training in NCA in Bangalore.
This 30-year-old batsman, after a successful surgery for Sports hernia , took place in germany was all set to play the upcoming India vs West Indies series. Unfortunately the player has tested positive for Covid-19.
Rahul has had quite a few lower abdominal related fitness issues on and off throughout the years. He has suffered groin strains and hamstring injuries aswell.
He had tweeted to update on his surgery recovery for fans and cricket associates around the world on June 29th.

Rahul was named in the squad for upcoming series against West Indies. The 5-match T20I series is all set to commence on 29th of July.
