Jasprit Bumrah has started practising hard in order to get recovered from injury.
Bumrah sustained injury in T20 series against Australia in the middle of september and then got replaced by Mohammad Shami for the next T20 series against South Africa. Later, reports said that Bumrah won’t be participating in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia and got replaced by Shami in the squad.
Chetan Sharma who the selector of Indian team for T20 World Cup admitted that they hurried with Bumrah’s selection for the World Cup.
“The selection committee has a lot on their plate and has to deal with issues related to workload management. We monitor it very closely. We had tried to hurry Jasprit Bumrah, we tried to get him ready with the World Cup coming, but see what happened. We are without Jasprit in the ongoing World Cup,” Sharma said midway through the T20 World Cup.
On Friday, Bumrah took to his instagram account and posted a video of him sweating out hard in the nets. He captioned the video “Never easy, but always worth it.” In the Video, Bumrah can be seen sprinting as well as bowling to get ready for the upcoming challenges.
