Team India will face South Africa in first T20 game of the 3-match series starting from Wednesday.
The last time these two teams faced each other, the series was drawn by 2-2 in 5-match series. So the competition will be tough for the both the teams to clinch this series.
India recently beat Australia in their last T20 series by 2-1 whereas South Africa beat England by 2-1 in their last T20 series in England. Both the teams are looking equally balanced.
Team India will go with the same batting lineup comprising of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant & Dinesh Karthik. Hardik Pandya has been given rest from this series and he is replaced by Shahbaz Ahmed.
In the bowling lineup, Arshdeep Singh is back in the team and he will lead the pace attack alongside Jasprit Bumrah & Harshal Patel. Yuzvendra Chahal & Axar Patel will be the two spinners in the playing XI.
