The day has finally come. India will take on Pakistan on 23rd October in T20 World Cup game.
Both the teams will face each other from 1:30pm IST in Melbourne Cricket Ground. The last time both teams faced each other was in Asia Cup 2022. India defeated Pakistan in the first game of Asia Cup but lost to them in the second one.
Both the teams are looking balanced and fans can expect a thrilling game. Talking about the playing XI, India will stick to Rahul-Rohit opening pair while Kohli’s presence will complete the top order. In form batter Suryakumar Yadav will retain his 4th position.
After Surya, all-rounded Hardik Pandya will come to bat making a balanced middles order followed by Dinesh Karthik at number 6. Axar Patel who has replaced injured Ravindra Jadeja will bat at 7th position as well as manage the spin department alongside Yuzi Chahal. Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh will take the responsibility of pace bowling.
