India will take on Black caps in the first ODI clash on Wednesday.

After thrashing and whitewashing neighbours Sri Lanka by 3-0 in the ODI series, men in blue would be looking to maintain the same rhythm when they face Kiwis in the first ODI at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Team India will be playing in the absence of wicket-keeper batter Kl Rahul & Axar Patel who have taken leaves due to personal reasons. Ishan Kishan is likely to replace KL Rahul as a wicket-keeper batter who was sidelined from the last series. Hardik Pandya who was given rest from the last ODI against Sri Lanka will be available in the first ODI.

Washington Sundar who missed series against Sri Lanka will be accompanying Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav in spin department. Star of India’s bowling in Sri Lanka series, Mohammed Siraj would be leading the pace attack alongside Umran Malik & Mohammad Shami.

India Predicted XI: Rohit Sharma (c), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Ishan Kishan (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Umran Malik.

New Zealand Predicted XI: Finn Allen, Devon Conway, Henry Nicholls, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Latham(wk/c), Michael Bracewell, Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi, Lockie Ferguson, Henry Shipley
