India XI vs World XI announced, Ganguly to lead India

Legends League Cricket of 2022 version will kickstart from 15th September. It will be dedicated to the 75th year celebration of Indian Independence.

In the first game India XI will take on the World XI at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. BCCI president and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly will make his presence on the cricket field as a player. Ganguly will captain the Indian XI. Apart from that, there are many others legendary Indian cricketers who are going to participate in the league.

Virender Sehwag, Mohammad Kaif, Yusuf Pathan, Parthiv Patel will manage the responsibility of batting while Irfan Pathan, RP Singh, Pragyan Ojha, Ashoke Dinda will lead the bowling attack whereas the World XI will be led by England’s former captain Eoin Morgan.

Players like Jayasuriya, Kallis, Sangakkara, Gibbs will be the the face of World XI batting line-up. Even the legendary fielder Jonty Rhodes will make his presence in the league. The bowling lineup will be led by legendary Dale Steyn & Brett Lee.
