ICC has just updated the ranking tables and India is now featuring in the top 4 in all three formats of the game that fan fans are overjoyed.
On 22nd June, ICC announced the latest ranking of the teams and India improved a lot in the shortest format of the game, featuring the blues in the top spot with 266 ratings, followed by England in 2nd, Pakistan in the 3rd, and South Africa in the 4th position.
Though in the ODIs format as India didn’t play as many matches as other teams, the blues demoted to the 4th position with a rating of 105. In the ODI format, New Zealand is holding the top position followed by England and Pakistan.
But in the longest format of the game, India is holding the 2nd position with 119 rating points. Aussies have conquered the top position in tests leaving New Zealand in 3rd and South Africa in the 4th position.
The player’s ranking also has been updated though there is no Indian batter in the top 5 spots in the T20s and Tests left-handed Indian opener got the prize for his brilliant batting in the South Africa series and climbed up to 6th position. In the ODIs team, Former Indian captain Virat Kohli is holding the 3rd position along with current Indian Captain Rohit Sharma in the 4th position. Marnus Labuschagne, Immam-Ul-Haque, and Md Rizwan are holding the top spot in Test, ODI and T20I accordingly.
In the bowling category Indian spinner Ravi Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah are currently in the 2nd and 3rd positions in Test. Bumrah also holds the 5th position in ODIs but there is no Indian bowler in the T20 top 5 spots. Pat Cummins, Trent Boult, and Josh Hazelwood are holding the top sports in Test, ODIs, and T20 accordingly.
Last but not least in the all-rounder category Ravindra Jadeja is holding the top sport in the test. Another Indian all-rounder Ravi Ashwin is in the 3rd spot. But Sakib-Al-Hasan has cut off the large difference between him and Jaddu for the top spot. But Sakib managed to hold the top spot in ODI and T20I Afgan legend Md. Nabi holds the top spot.
