Hardik Pandya will start with a new role in Team in 3-match T20 series against New Zealand in New Zealand.
Hardik Pandya will be seen captaining Team India for the series against New Zealand. It is India’s first game since their defeat to England in semifinal whereas New Zealand will also face their first opponent after they lost to Pakistan in the semifinal of T20 World Cup 2022. Hardik Pandya will lead the Indian team while Rishabh Pant will do the job of vice-captain.
When Hardik Pandya was asked if Gujarat titans would bid for Kane Williamson who got released Sunrisers Hyderabad before retention deadline, he said ” For him, because he is a friend, yes. Rest it is okay. IPL is IPL, right now I am playing for India.”
