Indian players have made a huge jump in the latest ICC test rankings.
India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja breaks into top 10 ranked bowlers in ICC test rankings. He is at number 9 at the moment after delivering a stupendous performance in the second test against Australia picking 10W haul.
This is the first time since 2019 Jadeja has made his place in top bowler rankings in test cricket. Jadeja’s teammate Ravi Ashwin jumped one spot higher and he is at number 2 at the moment. Besides Jadeja & Ashwin, Axar has also broken into top 5 all-rounder rankings. He is at number 5 at the moment after performing remarkably in the first two games against Australia.
England’s legendary pacer James Anderson becomes the number 1 test bowler in the world surpassing Australian captain Pat Cummins. England batters Ollie Pope (up six places to 23rd), Harry Brook (up 12 places to 31st) and Ben Duckett (up 13 places to 38th) have achieved career-best rankings, as have New Zealand’s Tom Blundell and Devon Conway.
