ICC updates their rankings after the 3rd ODI between India and England which went in India’s favour. Indian players are specially benefited in the new updated ranking.
Jasprit Bumrah who took 6W haul in the 1st ODI against England and bowled a spectacular spell of 6/19 climbed to number 1 position. He was earlier at number 4 while Kiwi pacer Trent Boult slipped down to 2nd and Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi is now at number 3.

Jasprit Bumrah is leading the chart with 718 rating points and is ahead of Boult by 6 points. This is not the first time Bumrah has become number one ranked bowler, prior to ODI series against New Zealand in February, he was ranked 1 number but Boult dethroned him after the series.

Flamboyant Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav who performed extraordinarily in the 3rd T20 against England and smashed his maiden T20 century moved at number 5 in ICC T20 rankings for batsmen. Suryakumar Yadav has played only 17 T20Is in which he has scored 4 fifties and a hundred with an average of 38 and remarkable strike rate of 177.
Indian team also moved to number 3 in ICC ODI rankings after a colossal win of 10 wickets against Englishmen in the first ODI. Indian team might have lost 5th test from England but in white ball cricket they are playing on a whole different level. The second ODI match between India and England will be played on 14th July at home of cricket, Lord’s.
