International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced the nominees for player of the tournament of the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia.
On Friday, ICC took to their official twitter account and posted the link for the fans to vote for the player of the tournament nominees. “9⃣ exceptional performers 💪

The nine nominees are Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Wanindu Hasaranga, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, Sikandar Raza and Alex Hales.
Virat Kohli & Suryakumar yadav remained India’s top 2 highest run-getter in the World Cup. Kohli amassed 295 runs in the tournament whereas Suryakumar Yadav made 239 runs. However, India could not qualify for the final but the way these two batters played, they are the deserving candidates of the award.
Sri Lanka’s Hasaranga was the highest wicket-taker from their side. He picked 15 wickets in the ongoing tournament. England openers Alex Hales & Jos Buttler smashed 85 & 80 runs respectively are also in the award race.
