Virat Kohli has proved out to be India’s batter this T20 World Cup.
In 4 matches India have played so far, Virat Kohli slammed three fifties in the matches against Pakistan, Netherlands and Bangladesh. Out of 3 wins, Kohli has won player of the match award in three of them. India is currently sitting at the top of points table and with the victory against Zimbabwe on 6th November, they will try to secure their top spot.
Kohli’s one of the shots in Pakistan’s game against Haris rauf for six has been matter of discussion from last few days. Former Ian Chappell while talking to Sydney Morning Herald, revealed Kohli’s answer of his question about not attempting ‘fancy shots’.
Ian stated that they did an interview with Virat Kohli, couple of years ago. It was a magnificent example of talking about the game. When they asked him about why doesn’t he use some of the fancy shots, he said, ‘he don’t want them to creep into my Test game’. That’s one of the amazing things about him. He makes all these runs at a very good rate, and he does it with normal cricketing shots.
