The PCB applied the central contract 2021-22 to declare the salaries of Pakistani cricketers. The list includes 20 cricketers, and three of them are under the age of 25. Yearly agreements for 2021-22 will be in effect from 1 July to 30 June of the current year (2022).
Cricket players from the Indian subcontinent are pampered with enormous pay packets. They get paid well for all their hard work on the field. However, there have been a lot of discussions recently concerning the gap in remuneration between Pakistani players and their counterparts in other countries.
It’s also an issue for Pakistani cricketers because the country’s board is in disarray due to a scarcity of matches being held there. Earlier this week, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed the central contracts for its 2021-22 rosters of players.
The contract has been broken down into four segments.
