Asia Cup is going to end on Saturday as Pakistan will face Sri Lanka in the final. Ahead of the game, cricket expert and Indian commentators Harsha Bhogle picked his playing XI of Asia Cup 2022.
Bhogle picked Afghanistan’s Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan as the openers of his team. Rizwan has been remarkable in the entire tournament with his brilliant show with the bat. He played an important role in bringing Pakistan in final.
Bhogle picked Virat Kohli as the number 3 batter for his team. Kohli is currently the leading run-scorer of the tournament scoring most than 250 runs with 90-plus average. He is also the only player to score century in this tournament.
Afghanistan’s Najibullah Zadran has been the responsibility of middle order by Harsha. Sri Lanka’s Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Dasun Shanaka are given the fifth and sixth position in the team. Harsha picked Pakistan’s Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz as the two spinners of the team. Both of them have been economical with the ball throughout the tournament. Talking about pacers, Harsha chose Bhuvneshwar Kumar along with two young guns Naseem Shah and Dilshan Madhushanka.
