Hardik Pandya shared an emotional video of his journey post surgery
Hardik Pandya played a significant role in India’s triumph over England in ODI series. Hardik was declared Man of the series for his impeccable performance with both bat & ball. On Monday, he shared an emotional video of his journey from injury to making a brilliant comeback for India.
Hardik has endured many injuries in his cricketing career specially his lower back issue. In 2019, he underwent a surgery and was sidelined from the national team till November, 2020. Hardik shared a video on his Instagram account in which his recovery process after surgery is shown and how he managed to bring his game to the top.
Hardik captioned the video “Through the ups and downs, with my people by my side. Woke up every morning raring to go, with the will to become stronger, with the will to become fitter and play for my country. Always grateful to those who stood by me, who encouraged me, who guided me”
Hardik has been in a phenomenal touch this year. Earlier, he made Gujarat Titans champions of IPL 2022 under his captaincy with his outstanding contribution with both bat & ball. For India, he has scored 317 runs in 10 innings, also picked 12 wickets with ball. Hardik will be in action in five-match T20 series against West Indies commencing from July, 29.
