Jasprit Bumrah comes with his brilliance once again when his team needed the most.
After gaining a huge lead Indian team couldn’t capitalize on the situation completely and could manage to put up only 245 in the second innings and give the target of 378 runs to England.
But the Indian bowling lineup couldn’t stand up to expectations and England has already reached 107 runs with the loss of 1 wicket at the tea break.
It was a hundred-run partnership between the opening pair of England, Alex Lees and Zak Crawley. Lees has crossed his half-century and is at the crease on individual 56 runs.
But Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah dismissed the other opener, Crawley, from the door of his half-century. Bumrah bowled a good length delivery which Crawley wanted to leave but the ball came back sharply and crashed onto his top of off stump. Eventually, Crawley had to return to the pavilion on 46 runs by getting dismissed by the blinder from Bumrah.
But the England team has the upper hand at this moment. They need to make 271 more to win this test match with 9 wickets in hand. The hosts have a very strong batting lineup with Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes in sublime form.
If India can’t get two-three wickets in a row from here it will be a heartbreak for Indian fans after dominating the whole 3 days of the historic test match
